Somaliland Vice President, Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail met with Mr. Werner Schultink, head of Somalia representative, and head of UNFPA, Mr. Anders Thonson, on 17th June at the presidential palace in Hargeisa.
Mr. Sayli’i began the meeting by expressing he would like to deepen Somaliland’s partnership with UNICEF and UNFPA. They also discussed on ways to double projects allocated for the implementation in Somaliland. The VP will further strengthen its cooperation with the two UN agencies as the new officials are about to assume their offices in Somaliland and replace their predecessors.
