Somalia’s PM Hon. Hamse Abdi Barre, on Wednesday welcomed the Sudanese ambassador to Mogadishu Hon. Abdelrahman Khalil Ahmed.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to consolidate bilateral ties between the two countries.
Ambassador Abdelrahman expressed deep thanks and appreciations to the gov’t and people of Somalia for supporting Sudan during the turbulent times that Sudan went through.
He pledged that Sudan will consolidate the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
On his side, Somalia’s PM expressed thanks to the gov’t and the people of Sudan for providing scholarships to the Somali youth during the conflict that Somalia went through.
He said that Somalia stands with the Sudanese gov’t and its people.
He lauded the ongoing efforts which are aimed at restoring the peace and stability in Sudan.
