Somalia’s PM Hon. Hamse Abdi Barre, on Wednesday received UN Special Representative to Somalia, Hon. James Swan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the working cooperation between Somalia’s Gov’t and UN agencies, UN’s support when it comes to holding one man one vote elections, and the new African Union Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
On his part, Somalia’s PM said that the Somali Federal Gov’t took important steps in the right direction when it comes to the country’s democracy.
He also spoke about development and the reconstruction of Somalia.
The PM expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the UN office for its support when it comes to the humanitarian aid, security and the peace building.
