Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has arrived in Tripoli, Libya’s capital, on an official working visit.
The objective behind the visit embarked by Somali president is to enhance and strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Somalia’s President and his accompanying delegation was greeted at Tripoli airport by senior officials from the government of Libya.
Hassan expressed deep thanks and appreciations to the people and the gov’t of LIbya for their commitment to enhance the bilateral ties between the two countries.
During the visit, the Somali President is expected to hold high level discussions with Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, Mohamed Al-Manfi.
The two leaders are expected to discuss on the stability and the mutual interests of the two countries.
The two leaders will also discuss on issues pertaining to the security, politics, combating against immigration and the repatriation of young Somali nationals who are detained in prisons in Libya.
