The Somali National Army in coordination with Int’l Partners, carried out a well-coordinated airstrike targeting senior Al-Shabab leaders.
The airstrike took place in Damasha and Shabeelow districts in Middle Shabelle region, killing Al-Shabab operative who was in charge for the group when it comes to the combat vehicles.
According to the press release issued by the Somali National Army Command, it said that Mr. Mansour Time-Weyne who was responsible for Al-Shabab’s combat vehicles has been killed.
Mr. Mansour recently returned from Buulo-Fulay district and was in a position to repair combat vehicles the group uses to conduct terra attacks.
More than 50 Al-Shabab members were killed in the wake of the airstrike.
Three combat vehicles were destroyed.
