Somaliland incumbent President H.E Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi alias Irro, on Friday, visited injured soldiers of Somaliland’s National Army and the local clan forces at Hargeisa General Hospital.
The Soldiers who were in line of duty were stationed in Buq-dharkayn and were injured in the last skirmishes between Somaliland army and the rebels in Sool region.
During the visit, the President personally interacted with injured soldiers and asked about their health conditions.
The doctors at the hospital briefed the president on the recovery of the injured soldiers.
The Head of State lauded the bravery of men in uniform for sacrificing their lifes in order to defend their religion, people and the country from the enemy.
The president was also briefed by the minister of justice, the director general of the health ministry, the director of Hargeisa General Hospital, and the deputy Army Chief on the medical treatment that the injured soldiers received from the hospital.
The visit the incumbent president paid to the injured soldiers underscores the priority that his administration is giving to the soldiers who were injured in line of duty.
