Somaliland President Makes Minor Reshuffle

HARGEISA–The president of Somaliland H.E Musa Bihi Abdi has issued a presidential decree number RSL/XM/WM/222-172/072018 whereby he sacked, reshuffled and appointed new government officials. According to a terse statement sent by the presidential press service (PPS) to Somaliland News Agency confirmed the appointment of the following to government posts.

Appointed

1. Admiral Mohammed Hussein Farah Hiraane – Commander of Somaliland Coast Guards
2. Mr.Mustafa Godane Ali Bile – The new Director General Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism
3. Mr.Abdirashid Hussein Abdille Gargaar – Governor of Sool region
4. Mrs.Amal Abdi Hassan – Deputy Chairlady Somaliland Quality Control Agency

Reshuffled

1. Admiral Abdi Hirsi Dua’le – Presidential Advisors on Naval Security
2. Dr.Osman Hussein Warsame Abdi – Director General Ministry of Information Culture and National Guidance

Sacked

1. Ali Mohammed Ali Nuur- Director General Ministry of Information, Culture and National Guidance.
2. Mr.Abdi Khayre Dirir – Provincial Commissioner Sool.
