The Vice President, Hon. Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail a.k.a “Zayli’i” attended on Wednesday a function whereby the disaster preparedness and Food Storage Authority received aid from UN organizations based in the country.
The chairman of DPFSA, Hon. Faisal Ali Shiekh has stressed the relief aid was judiciously administered and distributed. Deputy Vice president Hon. Sayli’i has thanked UN agencies for the donations and urged them to double the aid earmarked for Somaliland. The food aid donated by UNOCHA was meant to distribute to victims of cyclone saga that hit Somaliland this year.
