HARGEISA– Somaliland government has announced a ban from foreign vessels fishing from its shores. The move repudiates Somalia’s ministry of fishing which has recently announced the granting of licences to Chinese firms to conduct fishing in Somalia’s territorial waters. Is Somalia in control of its entire territory including Somaliland which it has authorized Chinese firms to fish?
