Mogadishu– Benadir regional court on Saturday summoned the auditor general of Somalia to appear before the court. The Auditor General, Mr. Ahmed Isse Gutale, is expected to face accusations that he obstructed the execution of a court decision. According to an official statement that the regional court addressed to Mr. Gutale, it has accused that he interfered court decision. He was informed to come before the regional court on Sunday 16, 2025 at 10:00 am. He will be questioned over crimes that he will face at the court. Chairman of Benadir regional court, Mr. Salah Ali Mohamud, has ordered that all agencies concerned to put order into execution. He also ordered that Mr. Ahmed Isse must appear before the court of law. There is a row that broke out between government institutions pertaining to an investigation that the office of Auditor General launched.
