Dubai– The President of the republic of Somaliland H.E Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi alias Irro, who is currently on an official visit to the UAE, has held a high level discussion with head of Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Sultan Al Masnour, who is also a member of the board of Dubai Commercial Bank. The meeting focused on ways to enhance Somaliland’s trade and the best way to allure UAE investors, particularly in the areas of economy, logistics, energy. The two sides also talked ways to cooperate when it comes to the banks of the two countries. They also discussed ways to cooperate on the areas of education. During the meeting, the two sides have also discussed ways to facilitate trade links between the two countries. The Head of State clearly stated Somaliland’s strategic location, the investment opportunities in the country and ways to create an environment conduce to trade. The President also held high level talks with a delegation from Senegal that attended the World Governments Summit. The two sides spoke about ways to consolidate ties between the two countries.
