Unidentified gunmen shot dead senior officer of Somalia’s immigration agency’s office in Galka’yo on last Friday.
The officer was identified as Osman Hussein Haji. He was gunned down nearby his house and died on the spot.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the airport staffer was shot dead while he was observing pre-prayer ablution.
A spate of killings were carried out in Galka’yo targeting government officials in Puntland’s provincial authority.
