Somalia’s PM Mohamed Husein Roble has recanted on his pledge to seek justice in the murder of female intelligence officer Ikran Tahlil Farah.
This was disclosed by professor Abdi Ismail Samatar, who has recently been elected to the senate.
During the visit of Somalia’s PM to Qatar, he struck a covert deal with President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo in which they agreed to end the ongoing investigation into the murder case was part and parcel of the issues.
Professor Samatar said the move that the investigation team exonerated those alleged to have been behind the murder was a testament of his decision during his visit to Qatar.
The family of murdered female spy officer called on both the PM and president not to obstruction efforts underway to pursue justice in the disappearance of their daughter.
