Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar on Wednesday met and held high level talks with Ethiopian counterpart, Mr. Gideon Timothewos, who is on an official working visit to Israel.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to consolidate the bilateral ties between the two countries in the areas of security and agriculture.
Mr. Saar told the media that the bilateral ties between Israel and Ethiopia are concerned in the fields of agriculture, health and culture.
On the other hand, Ethiopian FM Mr. Gideon Timothewos lauded Israel’s modern technology.
He said the two countries will cooperate in the areas of security and agriculture.
The two ministers agreed to combat extremism the likes of Hamas, Hezbollah and Al-Shabab which pose an existential threat to the world.
The Israeli FM vowed to eliminate all extremist organizations including Al-Shabab which wage a jihadist war against Somalia’s Federal Gov’t.
