Officials at the Somaliland ministry of health confirmed that with in the last 48 hrs, the country has registered 29 new cases of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
23 of them are reported to be males while 6 are said to be females.
The ministry added that 24 of the new infections are said to be Somaliland nationals while the 6 others are Indian nationals.
Covid-19 seems to be widespread among Somaliland men according to the daily day briefing.
The new cases reported are in Hargeisa, Berbera and Lasanod.
With in the last 48 hours, one person has recovered from the infection which makes the total recoveries to 121.
No death was reported and the tally stands at 27.
