In an address to Somaliland House of representatives on Saturday, Somalia’s President Mohmed Abdilahi Farmajo said that foreign countries are involved in Somalia’s political crisis but concealed to mention any country whilst expounded the collapsed talks in Dhusamareb.

President Farmajo accentuated that his government has made a lot of compromises for the country to hold timely, free and transparent election.

Farmajo blamed some of his rivals for the collapsed talks.

On Friday, Somalia’s Federal Gov’t announced they have failed to reach an agreement with its Federal Member States over the upcoming general elections with no clear path to a vote just days before the government mandate expires.

Jubaland leader, Ahmed Madobe accused president Farmajo of his hidden agenda to conduct unilateral election in the Gedo region which is under Jubaland state of Somalia.

For the past years, political disagreements erupted between the Federal govt and its member states.
