The Deputy Minister of Finance, Hon. Amb Rhoda Jama Elmi, underlined the importance of government agencies cooperating in accelerating the collection of land tax revenue and other revenue funded for social services.
Amb Rhoda and officials from the Ministry of Finance who inspected the acceleration of the inland tax revenues to the Ministries of Information & Health have been welcomed by various officials.
The Deputy Minister of Finance & accompanying officials have received the Minister of Information Hon. Saleban Yusuf Ali Kore accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Information were two sides discussed on the acceleration of the income related to land taxes that the Ministry of Information collects.
Amb Rhoda, who spoke at the meeting, thanked the Minister of Information & Information officials and said that their visit was to speed up the inland taxes revenues.
She said that the Ministry of Information plays a major role in raising awareness of the collection of inland taxes, and accelerating the collection of inland taxes that the Ministry collects from the services it provides.
Minister of Information Hon. Saleban who spoke at the meeting said that they are ready to participate in revenue collection, saying that the Ministry of Information is ready to participate in revenue collection and public awareness.
