The government of Somaliland has today launched the third phase of an educational project dubbed “Horumarnta Cilmiga” in Hargeisa. The program is led by the ministry of education and sceince which the EU has funded it. Care and Save the Children will be carrying out the program in Somaliland in collaboration with the ministry of education. A highly attended and well organized ceremony was held which saw the attendance of Somaliland’s Vice President, Mr. Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail aka “Sayli’i. The VP has reiterated the importance of improving the quality of Somaliland education. He urged that the education ministry to strive towards the betterment of educational standard in Somaliland.
