Somali Federal Gov’t has dispatched a high level delegation to the U.S. and is headed by the Minister Responsible for the finance, Mr. Bihi Iman Egge.
The delegation from Somali Federal Gov’t arrived in Washington DC.
The objective that the Somali delegation travelled to the United States is to attend the high level SpringMeetings2025 which is organized by the IMF and the World Bank.
Minister Bihi is accompanied by officials representing the offices of the President and the Prime Minister, Ministry of Planning, Somalia’s Central Bank and Finance institutions.
The delegation held meetings with IMF and the World Bank officials.
The goal of separate meetings that Somali delegation attended is to submit clear plans which are based on reforming the country’s economy and to lure investment funds that world agencies provide so as to invest the economy and to promote local production.
Minister Bihi who spoke to the media told that the meetings he held with IMF and World Bank officials were successful.
The delegation is now preparing to participate the meeting where the Somali Finance Minister will deliver a key address.
It is an important opportunity for Somalia to participate the SpringMeetings2025 which will take place in the United States.
The meeting will be in attendance by various world leaders and agencies that will submit their crucial plans.
The Somali Federal Gov’t has made a huge progress when it comes to dealing with world friends and now is intending to develop the economy so as to achieve economic growth and to lure investments and funds for Somalia.
