A delegation headed up by the Foreign Minister Dr. Esse Keyd Mohamud paid an official working visit to Hawd region yesterday, and toured number of centers where the registration of voters drive was held.
FM Esse Keyd was flanked by the Secretary General of Kulmiye ruling party Hon. Faisal Abdirahman.
The duo inspected several centers where the voter registration exercise was going on in Hawd province.
The mission behind the visit of the delegation led by the FM was meant to assess the voter registration drive was taking place in the region.
National Electoral Commission (NEC) is currently conducting voter registration drive across Somaliland to cater for the upcoming elections including the presidential polls slated to take place in 2023.
