The Chairman of the Somali Armed Forces Court, Colonel Hassan Ali Nuur Shuute yesterday embarked on an inspection visit to the Somali National Army along with Ma’awisley forces that are stationed in AlKawsar district in Middle Shabelle region.
The visit embarked by Shuute was aimed at boosting the moral of the Somali Defense Forces and clan militia fighters.
He urged the troops to intensify its operations which are aimed at driving out Alshabab militant group from the region.
While delivering a speech to the troops, Mr. Shuute spoke about Abdi Wabiir who fought bravely against Alshabab fighters in raid that occurred in El Ali Ahmed.
He said that the National Security Agencies launched an investigation into Abdi Wabiir who is a senior officer of Ma’awisley forces.
He added that one day after the fighting in El Ali Ahmed, Abdi Wabiir joined Al shabab militant group.
Later he escaped and was observed in Adan Yabaal district in Middle Shabelle region.
