Reports from Galgudud region confirmed that at least two young men were killed and another was injured in an attack carried out by armed assailants on herders in Galo area which is located 40 km north of Dhusamareeb, the administrative capital of Galmudug state. According to eyewitnesses, one of the deceased was identified as Mohamed Shakir. The assailants allegedly linked to the ongoing clan disputes and previous killings in the Galgudud region. Reports further say that the assailants fled from the scene after the attack. Local residents are worried over the incident and said that it could lead further violence.
