Mogadishu- The Second Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Abdisalan Abdi Ali, on Monday has seen off at Adden Adde Int’l airport the AU Commission Chairperson, Mahmoud Ali Yousuf who wrapped up a two-day official working visit to Somalia.
The AU Chairperson, Mahmoud Ali Yousuf held high level meetings with senior Somali gov’t officials.
They discussed ways to consolidate the cooperation between Somalia and the AU, AUSSOM’s support to Somalia, and the pacification efforts as well as Somalia’s reconstruction.
The second Deputy PM has expressed deep thanks and appreciations to the AU Commission Chairperson for his visit to Mogadishu, the role AU plays pertaining to peace and development of Somalia.
He reiterated the two sides to further enhance the cooperation between the two sides in the areas of security, reconciliation and economic development.
