The PFM Coordination Department has organized a countrywide training on COMPREHENSIVE OPERATING ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES, AND FINANCIAL REGULATIONS MANUALS for relevant civil servants in the regions.
The training familiarizes Financial Management practitioners and accountants with the Accounting Procedures and Financial Regulations manuals, as part of the ongoing PFM reform initiatives.
This objective of the training is to promote improved financial management, transparency and accountability in the management of public resources.
The training has already taken place in Sahil and Togdheer and currently in progress in Gebiley and Ainabo and will soon start in the remaining regions.
