The Vice President H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail (Saili’i), presided over the 20th graduation ceremony of Hargeisa University that saw 1360 graduates complete their various courses on Wednesday.
The Chancellor of the university Mohamud Yusuf Muse noted that 51% of the graduates were male while 41% were female.
The university staff, parents, students, members of the cabinet, parliamentarians and other dignitaries attended the event.
The speakers at the event congratulated the students for their fete and lauded their parents and tutors for being behind the achievements.
The President of the University of Hargeisa congratulated the graduates and asked them to use the knowledge they have learned to change their lives.
At the end, the vice president conferred the certificates upon the graduates.
