Somaliland has witnessed solar eclipse on Sunday before the sunrise and immediately people rushed to mosques so as to perform ellipse prayers whereby Muslims around the world resort to perform during eclipses.
Many people have not attended the prayers due to fears of the spread of the deadly novel coronavirus.
Solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the earth and the sun is not quite visible close enough to our planet to completely obscure the sunlight, leaving a thin of the solar disc visible.
