The Ministry of Telecommunications and Technology of the Republic of Somaliland conducted a training session for its staff and various departments regarding the Government Branding and Communication System Guidelines.
Somaliland’s Minister of Telecommunications and Technology, Dr. Abdisalan Hussein Awale, emphasized the importance of fully understanding and implementing the directives and procedures outlined in the Presidential decree. He stressed that all ministry departments are required to adhere to the official government system.
The training was delivered by the Ministry’s Director of Legal Affairs, Lawyer Shafici Abdi Haibe, who provided a detailed overview of the Government Branding and Communication System Guidelines, as well as the procedures for using the official emblem, disseminating news, and managing official communication among government institutions.
This training is part of the Ministry’s efforts to ensure that media activities, public relations, and official communications are conducted in accordance with the Presidential decree addressed to all ministries and government agencies of Somaliland. This circular concerns the implementation of the Branding Guide and the Government Communication System; the training aims to ensure that Ministry staff understand the official procedures and apply them accordingly in their daily work.
