The provincial health ministry coordinator in Togder region in SL has tendered his resignation today amid the hike of the deadly pandemic in the region.
He said that he could not bear the responsibility for the negligence of the growing number of deaths from the pandemic.
Dr. Adam Asayr has underlined the regional quarantine center does not follow the required procedures as everyone is allowed to come and leave anytime which spreads the virus in the region.
He urged the public to comply with the directives of the health ministry by wearing face masks, maintain social distancing and apply hand sanitizers to mitigate the spread of the virus in the region.
