The Director General in charge of Somaliland presidency, Honorable, Mohmed Ali Bile, today has inspected the work progress of four-lane road at the heart of the capital Hargeisa which is under expansion.
The DG has overseen the installation of concrete drainage pipes, the first of its kinds to be installed in the roads in the capital.
Hon. Bile met with construction workers at the site while installing the concrete drainage pipes which drain water away from the road and will be part of the quality of the highway beautification.
At the same time, the Director General has made a route visit to the bridge which is under construction and is being built in south west of the new would be presidential palace.
The construction of the new bridge will ease traffic congestion through out the capital.
Bile also toured the site where concrete drainage pipes are constructed which will be installed in the four-lane highway.
The rejuvenation, expansion and the reconstruction of the four-lane highway in the capital which is underway for months is funded by the joint collaboration of the presidential palace in conjunction with the Hargeisa City Hall.
Work is smoothly underway regarding the construction of the four-lane highway and once is completed, it will be up to the standard of roads in major cities around the world.
