NAIROBI– The Somaliland head of liaison office to Kenya, Hon. Bashe Awil made a courtesy call to the minister in charge of trade and industrialization for Kenya, Honorable Peter Munya.
The two officials discussed how to encourage trade between Kenya and Somaliland and foster relationship that is mutually beneficial to both countries.
The ambassador has invited the minister to Somaliland which is a home to 18,000 Kenyans who are currently working in Hargeisa.
Also the Government of Somaliland has welcomed the decision of the Kenya Government to open an office in Hargeisa, Somaliland.
