This is the moment passengers on a flight from London to Turkey stop a man from being deported from the UK, by demanding that he is taken off the airplane.
The man was brought onto the Turkish Airlines flight at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday afternoon, shortly before it was due to depart for Istanbul, accompanied by four officials.
Dramatic video footage shows the man screaming at the top of his lungs, shouting that he is being separated from his family to be taken to Somalia, frightening the other passengers.
Following a stand-off captured in the footage, during which Home Office staff can be heard assuring passengers that the man is not in danger, he was eventually removed.

In the footage, the man can be heard screaming loudly from his seat in the back of the plane, while Home Office staff try to block the view of passengers demanding and explanation to the delay and the noise.
Two Home Office staff try to reassure passengers that ‘it will quiet down’ once they are airborne, but the man keeps on screaming loudly.
‘It’s an attempt to get himself thrown off the aircraft so he can stay in the UK,’ one of them says.
When some passengers tell the Home Office officials that the man’s continuous screaming is scaring them, one of the staff members, dressed in a high-vis vest responds; ‘Hang on, how many of you have babies?
‘How many of them scream? You wont get scared when they scream. ‘
Dramatic: The man was brought onto the plane from the back and was seated with Home Office staff on either side of him
Stand-off: Several passengers became distressed as the man due to be deported kept screaming at the top of his lungs
Argument: Several passengers demanded that the man be thrown off the plane, which eventually departed from Heathrow to Istanbul
When a passenger points out the man being deported says he is going to Mogadishu in Somalia, the officer says; ‘And you believe him?’
He later responds to a passenger’s claim that people die in Mogadishu with; ‘They die in London, sir.’
The Home Office staffmember then tells passengers he has been to Mogadishu several times and it was ‘all right’.
Another video clip shows rows of passengers demanding that the man is taken off the plane.
A male passenger walks up to the back row where two Home Office staff are seated either side of the man and relays that he claims he is being separated from his family.
According to a witness, passengers continue to argue with the Home Office staff members, saying they do not know if the man is a criminal.
Eventually, the man is removed off the plane to the cheers of the passengers, and one can be heard shouting that he is ‘a free man’.
