Somaliland’s Coast Guard issued a warning against individuals in the country’s coasts who assist foreigners that smuggle illegal wildlife and bringing contraband weapons to the country.
The head of country’s Coast Guard, Admiral Mohmed Husein Farah alias “Hir” has confirmed that those who are caught red handed will be prosecuted in Somaliland.
The Admiral has informed all coast commanders stationed in the territorial waters of the country to monitor more effectively the illegal trade of forest animals in Somaliland.
Coast Guard of Somaliland have kept all piracy and terrorist activities at bay from Somaliland’s territorial waters.
