Hargeisa May 3, 2023 – The Office of the Minister of Finance Development of the Republic of Somaliland were took place a high-level work-shop which is between the Ministries of Finance, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Trade and Tourism, and the Somaliland Immigration Office.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Finance Development Dr. Saad Ali, and was attended by the Deputy Ministers of Finance, Trade, Foreign Affairs and other Senior Officials from the Somaliland Immigration Forces, with the purpose of the meeting was to facilitate all the services provided to tourists coming to the country and at the same time to develop tourist sites in Somaliland.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a joint technical committee was appointed, the committee consisting of the stakeholders of this project, which will work on facilitating and prioritizing the services offered to the tourists coming to the country.
Recently, there has been an influx of people from all over the world who are interested Somaliland in different reasons. However, the main reason behind is the peace and stability that has fully achieved by this newly born country, which is still not received fully recognized from the international community, but has made significant progress in the last 30 years.
