Somaliland sends relief delegation to Mogadishu

Somaliland has completed the fund raising relief project  to help the victims of floods in Beledweyn, Southern Somalia. The project was coordinated by the religious leaders, business people and elders. It was designed to alleviate the suffering of those affected in the aftermath of floods that hit the communities in Beledweyn in Somalia. The Committee from Somaliland sought the funds from all regions in the country. A relief delegation has departed from Somaliland today and en route to Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia in order to deliver the 600, 000 US dollar relief funds earmarked for the local community that have been devastated by the recent floods in Beledweyn. The delegation is headed up by Sheikh Mohamed Ali Gedi.
