Somalian PM attends Doha Forum

PM Hassan Ali Khaire flanked by cabinet members and senior officials are participating in the Doha Forum 2019 which will be held on December 14-15.
The PM previously attended the Doha Forum in 2017 and 2018.
The Annual Doha Forum is a global platform for a dialogue bringing together the leaders in policy building innovative action driven networks.
It will bring together leaders from the globe to re-imagining  governance in a multi-polar world.
The PM Hasan Ali Khaire arrived in Qatar and has already attended the one of the Doha Forum which started on Saturday.
This is the second trip the Somali PM started in Doha in two months.
Last month PM Hassan Khair, traveled to Qatar where he met with Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and discussed ways to further forge bilateral and development cooperation.
The Somali Federal Gov’t developed close cooperation with Qatar since Saudi Abaria, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt imposed a blockade on Qatar, June 217.
Somalia took a neutral stance in the Gulf diplomatic crisis that resulted in Qatar to finance ambitious projects in the Horn of African country as a reward.
It includes the reconstruction of 130 km road that links Mogadishu ti Jowhar and Afgoye which was launched by Somali PM in February this year.
Doha pledged to fund the project with 200 million US dollars.
PM Hassan Ali Khaire over the coarse of Doha Forum is scheduled to meet key diplomat and the Emir of Qatar.
It is not quite clear that the PM will meet with officials from other countries.
