Jubaland regional state on Wednesday called on that all stakeholders must work together when it comes to the anti-terrorism operations which are underway in the country. Jubaland lauded the operations that the gallant Somali troops and allied forces launched against Alshabab militant groups in Hirshabelle state. A statement issued from Jubaland presidential palace, said that Jubaland regional administration commended the ongoing efforts by Somali troops which they organized the locals to take up their arms and join the fight against terrorism which is underway in Hirshabelle provinces.
Statement from Jubaland presidency went on to say that If these efforts are pursued, they would lead to victory. The statement added that there is a huge responsibility on the Somali populace, the Somali Federal Gov’t and the Federal Member States, to decide for their future. It further added that If we unite the fight against insurgents, it is certain that we should achieve victory in order to ensure the security and the stability of the country. It said that having different opinions must not give a chance to the terrorist organizations to reorganize which would undermine the ongoing efforts to stabilize and develop the country. Jubaland state calls for unity in order to eliminate terrorism from the country.
