Azerbaijan and Somalia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), on bilateral cooperation in the oil and Gas sector.
Somali Petroleum Minister, Mr. Dahir Shire Mohamed met and held high level talks with Azerbaijan minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazor.
The meeting was held in Azerbaijani capital Baku on Thursday which was aimed at strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries.
The agreement will facilitate knowledge exchange and cooperation.
Azerbaijan is also expected to assist Somalia by leveraging its extensive expertise in the energy sector.
