Somaliland’s president Muse Bihi Abdi dismissed three ministers in a cabinet reshuffle. The president fired the minister of justice, Abdirisaaq Aali Aabdi, the minister of Education, Osman Adan Jama, and the minister of Planning, Abdiraxiim Isman Haji Abdi.
The deputy ministries of finance and national planning, Abdiqadir Mohamud and Hussein Ibraahin Hassani, lost their jobs, too.
The minister of Information and culture, Mohamed Muse Diriye switched places with the minister of Water, Saleeban Yusuf Ali Koore.
Hassan Mohamed Ali Gaafaadhi was transferred to the Ministry of Planning and Development. His post will be taken up by former minister Saeed Sulub Mohamed.
The new additions to the cabinet include the new minister of Education Ahmed Mohamed Diriye and Mustafe Mohamud Ali Bile for the Justice Ministry.
This is the third partial cabinet reshuffle undertaken by president Muse Bihi in two years at the office.
