A high level delegation from Somaliland led by the deputy health minister is in Turkey on working visit. The Director Generals from Hargeisa, Borama, Burao, Berbera and Lasanod public hospitals and officials from the ministry of health are currently with the minister’s visit to Turkey. The mission behind the visit embarked by health officials delegation from Somaliland is to tour Turkish health care centers whilst observing the high quality services that are available. The other objective behind the health delegation from Somaliland on its visit to Turkey is to forge closer cooperation with Turkish government over healthcare with Somaliland govt. The ministry of health from Somaliland will strive to ink a deal with Turkish govt over providing health related seminars to Somaliland health professionals in an attempt to upgrade the level of knowledge.
