LASANOD– A delegation headed by the interior minister inspected at customs checkpoint in Lasanod Sool’s provincial capital on Saturday.
Hon. Mohamed Kahin, Somaliland’s interior minister has urged workers at Lasanod custom’s checkpoint to vet all vehicles crossing the border with Somalia. The minister was accompanied by the speaker of Somaliland’s National House of Assembly, Hon. Bashe Mohamed Farah and the deputy police commissioner, Hon. Abdirahman Liban Foxle. The delegation opened new police stations built in Lasanod villages which are aimed at beefing the security in the restive Lasanod township. The customs agents have briefed the visiting delegation of the work they do on a daily day basis.
