HARGEISA– The ministry of education announced on Friday that the next academic year will be commence in September, 2018.
According to a press statement released from the ministry of higher education apprised of all public and private schools to abide by the decision to extend the school holiday by another month.
The ministry decree, approved on Friday, calls on all school administrators and teachers to be in school on September the 1st. The ministry said that swift action will be taken to principals or school owners that failed to comply with the order.
