President: Drought threatens thousands of Somaliland nomads

Thousands of nomads in Somaliland are threatened by drought, and they are in urgent need of assistance, the president has decaled. SL President said: ” 110 families are in need of humanitarian assistance. It is not an impending human catastrophe but they are desperately in need of urgent relief. The President of SL Musa Bihi Abdi said that 70 percent of rural communities in nationwide need water. Also he added that water wells dried up. The country’s Head of State announced on Wednesday that the government will begin water tricking across the country for 45 days to provide water to rural families that are affected by the drought.
