Somaliland’s FM is reported to be running for the parliamentary elections in 2021.
Yasin Haji Mohmud Hir is due to tender resignation to president Musa Bihi Abdi.
The FM will vie the parliamentary elections in his home province of Sool.
SL will hold parliamentary and city council elections on 31 May, 2021.
If Faraton is elected as a member of parliament, he will also run for the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Faraton held various ministerial portfolios in Somalialnd’s successive administrations.
