At least 10 people have died and several others suffered injuries in the latest inter-clan fighting in Somalia.
The skirmishes occurred in an area between Jiicboor and Saax quran which is located in the West of Mudug province.
Those injured in the armed confrontations were taken to the towns administered by Puntland and Galmudug states.
The fighting broke out over a disagreement of which authority will administer Jiicboor.
Sources confirmed that the situation on the ground remains tense and volatile which increases the likelihood of further confrontations breaking out soon.
Puntland and Galmudug regional authorities have started efforts to bring an end to the fighting that erupted between the two brotherly clans who reside in the West of Mudug region.
