LASANOD–The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Somaliland is in Laasanod, Sool’s provincial capital on official working visit. The members will oversee the scrutiny of all matters related to the projects which were carried out in Lasnaod and were included in 2017 national budget. They inspected the 4 km long road which was build in Lasanod and was included in 2017 budget twice. They also toured Lasanod city hall.
The PAC members will also inspect the building of Taleh’s government building.
The PAC members are expected to return to Hargeisa and is due to report back to the house on the fact finding mission once the house returns from the recess.
Somaliland is said to be place where corruption is rampant.
