This International Day of the Girl, we celebrate helping girls develop their skills to enter the workforce and reach their full potential.  Recently when world leaders gathered for the UN General Assembly, Edna Adan participated in the Goalkeepers event in New York City.  Goalkeepers is a catalyst for action towards the Sustainable Development Goals.  Edna joined Bill and Melinda Gates, Presidents Emmanuel Macron and Julius Maada Bio and fellow African stateswoman Graça Machel as well as other luminaries and shared her story of bold leadership and innovative solutions that drive progress on the Global Goals.

Girls are at the core of all our work. We envision a future in which they are protected from FGM, empowered through education, and have access to quality health care. None of this will be possible without your continued support.  Please help us train a new generation of midwives and as we embark on a new teacher training program to ensure an enhanced skill set of the students applying to our university.
