Mogadishu– Somali troops killed senior commander of al-shabab on Thursday in an operation that took place in South Somalia. SNA commanders who led the operation told that Abdilahi Said Bulhiye was killed in Jowle which comes under Mudug region. The troops also killed other militants who were protecting the senior al-shabab commander. SNA commanders further said that they will continue the operations until al-shabab is liberated from Mudug and Galgudud regions . Operations aimed at flushing out al-shabab are underway in Mudug region which is under the administration of Galmudug.
