A young man has been put behind bars by police for wearing Somali flag sports outfit. He was detained while at the downtown in Hargeisa on Tuesday. Mr. Abdirisak Mohamed Aar is a member of local organization that is engaged in combating tribalism in Somaliland. According to reports that this is the first time that Mr. Aar was seen wearing the Somali flag sports outfit but has it on him for the past couple of weeks. Somaliland has a ban in place which forbids its citizens holding public office in Somalia or traveling to Somalia means that you have committed a national treason.
