The PFM reform Coordination Department has organized a consultative meeting between the senior officials of the Ministry of Finance Development and beneficiary civil servants of the Domestic Resource Mobilization Course on January 10, 2021.
The objective of the meeting was to consult with students on issues that hinder their learning and listent their concerns and to identify ways for improving teaching and learning arrangements, and agree on the way forward to meet anticipated course objectives.
The Meeting was deliberated by Dr. Saad Ali Shire, the Minister of Finance Development, Mohamed Abdi Gurhan, Director General of the Ministry of Finance Development, Hassan Farah Somaliland PFM Coordinator and representatives from University of Hargeisa.
The PFM professionalization Training is financed through the PFM program and aims to improve the professional capacity of civil servants in key financial management institutions. More particularly, the course seeks to create qualified PFM practitioners with a range of relevant financial management skills to handle and sustain reforms.
The PFM Education and Training Programme is a collaborative program between the Government of Somaliland, WYG International, and Michael Parry Consulting LLP.
