The Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Mahad Mohamed Salad, currently in the city of Dhusamareb, held various meetings tonight with different segments of society from the Galmudug capital.
The meetings were attended by politicians, traditional elders, businesspeople, women, and youth from the city, with discussions focusing on social conditions and state-building in Galmudug. Organized by Chairman Hussein Cirfo alongside local businesspeople and politicians, the meetings specifically addressed the role the Dhusamareb community can play in building the Galmudug regional state.
Additionally, the discussions focused on peace and reconciliation among the people of Galmudug, with participants exchanging views on how to further strengthen peace-building efforts.
Representatives of the Dhusamareb community thanked Director Mahad Mohamed Salad and commended his role in peace-building efforts and in resolving the civil conflict that had existed in the Balanballe district area. They also urged the NISA Director to continue reconciliation efforts, pledging to play a role in hosting meetings and supporting these initiatives. The community expressed their readiness to participate in efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability across all areas of Galmudug.
